Prof. Dr. Jimin Zhao is currently a full professor at Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interest is focused on ultrafast spectroscopy and dynamics of correlated quantum materials. He has innovated on-site in situ high-pressure ultrafast pump-probe spectroscopy, investigated ultrafast dynamics of superconductors, charge density waves, topological quantum states, etc. He also worked on nonlinear optical properties of quantum materials. He has published ~80 peer-reviewed journal papers and delivered more than 80 invited talks. He has also Chaired/Co-Chaired international conferences in his field. He serves as the Board Member of the Academic Committee of Light Scattering, Chinese Physical Society, and Vice Chair, Technical Group of Ultrafast Phenomena, Optica. He serves as Editorial Board Member and Excellent Young Editorial Board Member of several SCI journals. He has been the project leader of quite a few funding awards, including the National Key Research and Development Program of China, Key Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Interdisciplinary Innovation Team of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
