Prof. Sandip Chatterjee is a faculty member in the Department of Physics at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. His research interests include topological materials, magnetic and thermoelectric systems, skyrmion-hosting compounds, and unconventional superconductors. His group focuses on the growth and characterization of thin films using pulsed laser deposition, synthesis of high-quality single and polycrystals, and low-temperature magnetotransport and thermoelectric measurements. He has
established advanced facilities for load-based thermopower and magnetotransport studies in his laboratory. Prof. Chatterjee’s research aims to elucidate the interplay between topology, magnetism, and superconductivity to design multifunctional quantum materials
for energy-efficient and spintronic applications.
