Pei-De Zhao

Hebei University of Technology
China

Dr. Zhao completed his doctorate in Optics at Nankai University. His main research areas are quantum optics, nonlinear optics, photo physics, and photo chemistry. He with his team proposed the QILO model so that the famous Lorentz oscillator could successfully be used for describing the photon-electron interaction. He and his colleague were the first to investigate the two-photon photo physics and photo dynamics of the new chlorophyll photosensitizers in detail. He with his team first pointed out that there is about 35% error ranges in the experimental principle of the famous Z-Scan technology due to the uncertain temporal profile of an ultra-short laser pulse.
