Rui Wang is an Associate Professor at Chongqing University with a Ph.D. earned from the same institution in 2012. He has held visiting positions at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Southern University of Science and Technology. Since 2020, he has been a full professor, previously serving as an associate professor since 2014. His research focuses on computational condensed matter physics, topological insulators, and topological semimetals. Rui leads several major research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and local talent development programs. His contributions have earned him honors such as the Chongqing Youth Talent Award and the Ministry of Education’s Doctoral Academic Newcomer Award. Rui has published influential papers in top journals including Physical Review Letters and Physical Review B, exploring Weyl fermions, nodal line fermions, and quantum anomalous Hall phases. His work advances the understanding of topological quantum states in magnetic oxides and related materials.
